Cal: 9mmP, made in 1944, assembled with an FN manufactured slide marked with a large stacked “AC/44”. All other features are typical of Walther manufactured P38s in terms of markings, locations, and proofs. Fitted with dark brown composition grips and a “P38” magazine that was E/WaA135 proofed. Disassembly shows all matching serial numbers. Condition: EXC as re-dipped with super sharp markings that have raised edges. The only way to tell this gun was re-dipped is that the color is too dark and there is a scattering of micro pits on the slide under the finish. The same applies to the magazine. Crisp original grips. Mirror bright bore. Perfect manual mechanics.
