The little loss there is, is from some very slight sharp edge silvering and a very slight surface rub mark on the slide. There are no rust spots, dings or scratches. The grip straps have no sign of graying. The slide is numbered 392488 p. The grips are the correct very late war stamped wooden Walther Banner style. They are also perfect. Typical of late war guns it is devoid of the bolt hold open. The bore is pristine like the rest of the gun Mirror bright with razor sharp rifling. It comes with one magazine. The right side is stamped with a "W" the left, the Walther Banner, 7.65 m/m. The heir says her father, a Capt. in charge of a prison camp took it from a captured Nazi soldier.
