The CCP (Concealed Carry Pistol) utilizes Walther's SOFTCOIL™ gas-delayed blowback system to cycle the action. The slide has a pivoting piston pinned to it, and the barrel is fixed to the frame. The system is ultra reliable and has the advantage of eliminating the vertical space needed for the tipping barrel of the blowback system.
