Scarce, Historic, and Well Documented Walther Model 9 Vest Pocket Pistol in .25 ACP with original laminated capture paper.

Description:

Standard configuration Walther Model 9 Vest Pocket Pistol with 2” barrel, fixed front sight and grooved rear sight. Walther patent, model reference, and banner on left side of the slide. Full SN on the left frame behind the trigger, near the safety lever having S/F detents. . "Waffenfabrik Walther Zella-Mehlis (Thür)" on the right hand side of the slide above the Crown/N inspection marks applied to the slide and adjacent frame. Black plastic grips, molded with the Walther banner and secured by a decorative washer and screw. Complete with six round magazine with five indicator holes and a recessed Walther banner on the bottom. Complete with laminated capture paper dated Sept 26, 1945 in which this pistol was specifically referenced by caliber and serial number

Condition:

The pistol retains about 95-97&of its bright original salt blue finish with muzzle and sharp edge wear as one might expect from a carried vest pistol. Little thinning/wear of front and back strap. EXC grips with crisp checkering and magazine that shows little insertional wear. Mirror bright bore. Correct manual mechanics. EXC capture paper as laminated.
