Walther Nazi Era P38 - 1944 Mfg

Description:
 Walther P.38 byf 44 issued to the Nazi military in 1944. It is all matching numbers and has the proper "Eagle 359" military acceptance proofs. It has somewhere between 85-89% of the bluing.  I cannot say if it is the original finish or not. There is slight wear over some of the high edges, on top of the side and, around the muzzle. Fitted with reddish phenolic grips that are marked and dinged but exhibit no chips or cracks. Comes with a Walther stamped factory magazine. Bore is shiny, has strong rifling and still shows machine marks on the lands. De-cocker is functional. I have seen these firearms sell for much more in poorer conditon.

I am no expert on these pistols and appreciate any contribution or correction.  No box, no manual or paper - just what is shown in the listing.  Please email with questions and I do my best to get answers.  The pistol comes with the GI standard 3 day no firing no dissasembly return policy begining when received by your transfer agent as confirmed on the USPS tracking history.  The pistol is C&R qualified.
