WALTHER P.38 AC42 Mfg. 1942 Matching + 2 Mags, Case & Extra Grip 9MM LUGER (9x19 PARA)
Description:
Guns Listing ID: 676363
Up for sale is a historic, all-matching Walther P.38 manufactured by Walther in 1942, as indicated by the ‚AC42‚ slide code. This pistol is a prime example of the standard-issue sidearm that replaced the Luger P08 for the German army during World War II.
This pistol is in excellent condition for its age. The action is smooth, and the bore is clean with sharp, deep rifling. All major components are matching, including the frame, slide, barrel, and locking block.
The slide is marked with the correct ‚Eagle/359‚ Waffenamt, the official military acceptance stamp for Walther production. Included are two magazines. The first appears to be original to the era and has electropencil markings, which is often indicative of a ‚GI bring-back‚ where a soldier marked their captured trophy. The second magazine is a vintage, period-correct spare.
The pistol comes with the original black Bakelite grips, as well as a newer, high-quality set of brown wood grips. A green soft zipper case is also included. This is a fantastic opportunity for a collector to acquire an all-matching, honest example of a WWII P.38.
