Gorgeous, original and all-matching high polish Walther P38 ac 41 pistol with matching magazine, near mirror bore, and correct manual mechanics. A wonderful example that would be difficult to improve upon!
Description:
High polish Walther P38, made in 1941, all matching, including its original matching magazine. SN: 1064e. Cal: 9mmP. Standard configuration P38 with 5” barrel, drift adjustable front sight and fixed rear sight. Stacked address on the left side of slide that includes “ac” manufacturers code, the date “41” and the serial number. Safety positions marked with a white highlighted “S” and a red highlighted “F”. The right side of slide with the usual three acceptances, two of which were applied after bluing. The full serial number is repeated on the left side of the frame, left side of slide, on barrel lug, and on the locking block. Correct dark brown serrated grips. Matching magazine with "P.38" on the left side, a double "E/359" on the spine, and "1064 e" on the bottom toe of the floorplate. Complete with a second, Mauser-made magazine marked "P.38 v" on the left side and an E/135 acceptance on the spine.
Condition:
EXC bright, original, high polish salt blue with sharp edge and holster wear that one would expect from light use. Comparable blue on the front strap. Crisp original grips. EXC matching magazine and the Mauser-made spare. Near mirror bore. Correct manual mechanics. A wonderful, all-matching, German WWII Military Walther P38 pistol made in 1941!
