This is a rare variant of Walther P38 pistol, made with a shortened 2.5 inch barrel in 1981 in West Germany. Only 2,600 of these interesting pistols were made in the 1970s-80s and even fewer were actually imported into the US. One of, if not THE, most desirable collector's Walther found in the US market. She is accompanied by the original clamshell box with the factory label matching the pistol's frame, both factory magazines, cleaning rod, all of the paperwork including the test target, original black composite stocks and a tastefully upgraded set of gorgeous walnut target grips. Her condition is second to none as pictured. There are only the faintest handling marks found on this scarce German masterpiece. These are EXTREMELY RARE to find in this condition. They typically always have finish loss on the sharp edges. All of the mechanics are crisp. The pistol shows factory test fired only.
