The Walther PK380 is a hammer-fired, semi-automatic handgun chambered in .380 ACP, specifically designed for concealed carry and ease of use. One of its primary "claims to fame" is a slide that requires very little force to manipulate, making it a top choice for shooters with smaller hands or reduced hand strength. Locked-Breech Design unlike many .380 pistols that use a simple blowback system, the PK380 uses a Browning-type tilt-barrel short-recoil action. This significantly reduces felt recoil, making it "soft-shooting" and comfortable for extended range sessions. Features a paddle-style magazine release at the base of the trigger guard and a slide-mounted manual safety that are accessible from both sides.
