Left side of slide with usual Walther address reflecting manufacturer, model, and caliber. Left side of frame with “GB” in rondel form, an unknown marking. Full serial number on right side of frame. Eagle/N proofing on exposed barrel boss, right side of slide. Matching scribed slide. Standard black plastic grips and original magazine with black finger extension.
Synopsis:
Walther, PP, German, Early Wartime Commercial, GB Marked.
Condition:
Fantastic, 99+% bright original salt blue with just a few sharp edge rub marks and an occasional scuff. Comparable condition grips. Good magazine, the left side with a shallow dent, the right side with mottled blue loss as imaged. Mirror bright bore. Perfect manual mechanics. A gorgeous Walther PP, early Wartime Commercial whose “GB” marking deserves further investigation.
