The Walther PPQ (Polizeipistole Quick Defence) is a striker-fired, polymer-framed semi-automatic pistol developed by Carl Walther GmbH in Germany as an evolution of the P99, primarily chambered in 9 mm Parabellum for law enforcement, security, and civilian defensive/shooting sports applications. Featuring a short-recoil operated locked-breech design with a modified Browning cam-lock system, this pistol features a 4" barrel, an overall length of 8" and an empty weight of 24.5 oz with a capacity of 15+1 rounds. Renowned for its "Quick Defense" trigger, along with superior ergonomics provided by textured grips, ambidextrous slide stop and reversible magazine release.
