For sale 1942 Walther (ac code was assigned to Walther) P38 (P-38 P 38). This is a historically significant firearm issued to German forces during the final years of WWII. Unlike earlier P38s, the ac42 variants may show late-war production characteristics such as rougher machining, which are common and desirable among collectors for their historical accuracy. The example has German army acceptance proofs and is in excellent condition: metal finish is about 98%, Bakelite grips are about 98% with no cracks or chips, shiny bore with strong rifling. All matching serial numbers (frame, slide, barrel, locking block). Full rig includes two magazines (one original and one after war) and leather holster. Holster has army proof and dated 1944.
