WWII Nazi German Walther P.38 5" Barrel AC-45 Semi Auto Service Pistol Late WWII mfg
Walther P.38 9mm semi automatic German WWII service pistol, AC-45 code, likely manufactured in March of 1945. This pistol is entirely non matching, with a "c block" serial number, as well as E/359 Waffenamts, all of which is correct for a near-end War P.38, as the factory was throwing together mismatched parts as quickly as they could. The pistol is in very nice overall condition, with most of its blued finish remaining, as well as nice grip panels, and a smooth action with a great bore. The safety/decocking lever appears to not have it's decocking function, and the hammer can still fall on the safe position, however the firing pin appears to be blocked when on safe. Sources indicate that this is a common issue for late war produced P.38's. Otherwise, this is a fine collectible piece, and it would make for a nice addition to your collection! Includes one "AC" code magazine. Please refer to the photos prior to purchase. No sale in MA, C&R OK.
