This Webley & Scott was bought by Spencer Vere Wasbrough and sent to him in Tientsin China in 1912. He had been in China, in 1910 during the Xinhai Revolution. Washbrough would be promoted to Captain and be in charge of a brigade of four ""carrying Companies during the battle of Arras. Two days after the battle began, Capt. Wasbrough would be killed in battle. He was only 32 years old is buried in Highland Cemetery near Pas De Calais, France. Pistol comes with its original holster that was sent to China in 1912.
