Webley & Scott Navy Model Mk I .455 Webley pistol circa 1913 -1919

Description:
Webley & Scott Navy Model Mk I in .455 Webley.  This is the Royal Navy version of the model 1913.  Roughly only 8,000 of these pistols were made between 1913 – 1919 with this one being SN:  4270.

Special designation for the Royal Navy is the “N” to the right of the Mk I on the left side of the slide.

This rare W&S military pistol is in excellent working order with a matching magazine, perfect/bright bore and excellent mechanics.  Cosmetically all blue finishes are intact with varying amounts of fading and some light surface rusting, yet it still retains 92% original blue.  The grips are fine with the sole exception of a small chip missing on the top/front of the left panel.

This fine collectible Webley is over 105 years old and will make a fine addition to a military arms collection.
