Serial #286, .22 LR cal., 5.25" sleeved smooth bore,   ported barrel,   brass construction,  smooth hardwood two-piece grips, lanyard ring,   top-break release,   steel bead front sight.   V groove rear notice on barrel latch.

Condition: 5 ¼” very nice smooth bore . The muzzle is angle cut with serrations and ported on the bottom in two locations.  Pistol is built on a brass frame, W&S Flare gun frame with a steel sleeved barrel. Very heavy gun about 3# more or less. Metal surfaces are in good condition with a nice goldenrod patina , a few dents and minor scratches. Steel trigger, hammer and barrel latch with brass trigger guard.  Please judge condition from the photos. The markings are all crisp and legible. Original two piece walnut grips are in good condition showing some scratches, minor dents and handling marks. Typical for a pistol of this age. 
Mechanically works excellent , fully functional with very good lock-up and strong hammer spring. 
 This is a very rarely seen pistol and overall in very good condition. If you are a Webley collector , this is one very hard to find pistol and a great collectors piece. 

Overall, this Rare Webley & Scott pistol is a great example of a highly collectible piece of firearms history. Its very good condition, unique features, and rich history make it a valuable addition to any firearms collection.
