 Introduced as one of Wilson Combat’s flagship defensive pistols, the EDC X9 blends the ergonomics of a modern double-stack carry gun with the precision engineering of a custom 1911. Using the enhanced X-Frame and built for superior reliability, accuracy, and shootability, the EDC X9 has become one of Wilson Combat’s most respected carry-grade handguns. This 2022-manufactured example showcases the company’s premium fit, finish, and attention to detail.
Description
This Wilson Combat EDC X9 features an all-black finish contrasted by a 3" crowned, fluted stainless steel barrel with a bright, clean bore and sharp rifling. The black slide includes rear cocking texture and is equipped with a Wilson tall U-notch rear sight, an Ameriglo red night-sight front, and a Trijicon RM06 red dot for enhanced low-light precision.
Mechanically, the action is in very good condition, running smoothly with positive controls. The pistol uses detachable box magazines, and its magazine release, slide release, and thumb safety are located on the left side. It features a skeletonized trigger and hammer, a serrated hammer spur, and a light, crisp trigger pull characteristic of Wilson’s expert tuning.
The frame is finished with textured front and rear straps for secure handling, and the grip panels sport Wilson’s distinctive starburst pattern. The pistol shows very light handling marks and is rated mechanically and cosmetically very good.
