ANSLEY H. FOX 12 GAUGE AE GRADE SXS SPORTING GUN SN 23491. Engraved toplever boxlock action with double triggers marked ANSLEY H. FOX in banner on both sides. 30 inch barrels marked CHROMOX FLUID COMPRESSED STEEL on right and MADE BY A.H. FOX GUN CO., PHILA, PA U.S.A. on left.
Choked: Full left and Modified right. 2 5/8 inch chambers. Automatic ejectors. Ivory bead front and mid sights. Finely checkered straight grip American walnut stock with leather covered Jostam pad. 15 inch pull. Matching fore arm with Deeley and Edge type finger release.
Condition: Good to very good with some slight surface rust on barrels. Stock with slight dings and bruises from use. Barrels are tight on the face. Ribs are sound. Good case colors remain on action. 50-60% original blue on barrels. 2 inch section nicely inletted in top of comb.
