BAKER PARAGON 12 GAUGE EJECTOR SXS SPORTING GUN SN 201171F. Fine conditon. Predecessor to the L.C. Smith with 26 1/16 inch steel bbls choked full and full with tapered, concave, matted rib, single bead, Greener crossbolt rib extension with third bite, ejectors, and double triggers. Mounted with nicely figured American walnut, checkered splinter forearm and pistol grip stock, 14 3/8 inch over an old Jostam pad. Receiver and lockplates surrounded by light foliate arabesque patterns of hand engraving.
Bore diameter: left .737, right .736. Bore restrictions: left .029, right .031. Wall thickness: left .034, right .031. Drop at heel: 2 1/2 inch, drop at comb: 1 1/2 inch. Weight: 6 lbs. 1/28 oz.
Condition: Fine, as completely refinished. All metal retains a beautiful, professionally restored finish. Stock has a couple of chips back of the right lockplate. otherwise wood is sound with a minor bruise or two and some light handling marks. Retains most of its restored finish. Mechanics are fine, bright shiny bores.
