Sanders, 79 Bank Street, Maidstone. Reblued boxlock action with Webleys patented screw grip third fastener. Action with border engraving with foliate scroll details around screw heads. Disc set strikers. Ejectors. Automatic safety. Finely checkered straight grip older replacement stock of well figured dark walnut. Horn buttplate. Vacant silver oval. Finely checkered splinter fore end with Anson style release.
CONDITION: Fine, as redone. Barrels show 94-96% reblued finish with older pitting under fore end and some light spotting in other areas. Action shows 80-90% reblued finish. Some screw slots show marring. Refinished stock and fore end.
