MCDERMOTT DUBLIN IRISH FLINTLOCK DUELLING PISTOL NVSN. Caliber .60. 10 1/2 inch octagonal barrel with dovetailed silver front sight. Vacant oval gold escutcheon and silver band at breech. Engraved tang. Steel under rib. Ornately designed lock with dentate borders and marked MCDERMOTT. Sleeved touch hole. Checkered walnut stock with engraved steel furniture. Wrist has silver oval escutcheon engraved with a coat of arms and JHL monogram in script. Silver fore end cap. Silver oval wedge escutcheons. Spurred triggerguard. Tapered rosewood ramrod with wormer and horn cap.
