For some reason I can't edit the title. This rifle is not one of the original 100 gun production, but is of a later production run with a sling swivel loop on the barrel instead of the fore end. Those are the best in my opinion and my personal guns are this configuration. I have one gun remaining. For a time CDNN had these for sale, but that was two years ago. This gun is new in the box. Here is a little history: Ruger produced a limited run of about 100 of these M77 Hawkeye Alaskan Stainless Steel Left hand .375s in 2008. They were built to use up ninety-some stocks that were erroneously turned with a large barrel channel. Then, rather than advertise them as really special, they shipped them to their distributors without explanation. I bought about a third of that run and they were an instant hit. In 2010 Ruger produced another batch, and just like the first ones, never announced it to anyone. This gun is the later version, with a sling swivel loop on the barrel. In total I bought about 135 of these guns. I kept two for myself and have sold all but this one. This is a Ruger Hawkeye in .375 Ruger caliber. Matte Stainless Steel, Left Hand action, Black/grey laminate stock, 20" Barrel, Express Sights. (Really Good Express Sights, with a large bead front sight and a rugged fixed shallow rear “V”, sighted for 50 yards). It is new in the box and the package includes Ruger factory stainless scope rings, LC6 trigger, Ruger lock, factory warranty and papers. The photos below are of my personal rifle with a scope. The gun for sale is identical to my gun. A scope sight is not included with this rifle. This is the ultimate working rifle and is suitable for just about any big game, anywhere. Where else is there made a controlled round feed, stainless left hand .375? One feature that is unique about this rifle is its great balance. It handles like a nicely balanced shotgun. A high percentage of its weight between the hands makes a low moment of inertia; meaning that it takes little effort to move the rifle and that permits quick deployment.
