WINCHESTER – Model 70, .22 Hornet 24” barrel length, bolt action rifle, nicely figured walnut pistol grip stock, hand checkering, monte carlo, factory butt plate, factory deluxe detachable sling swivels, rare Fecher “Woodchuker” 11x scope with one-piece target style Unertl base, 1953 manufacture, metal work is in 98% condition, wood is in 98% condition, two holes drilled forward of rear sight for a target style scope block which have been filled in with appropriate plug screws, outstanding combination of caliber, scope, and rifle that evokes a charming 1950’s era varmint gun, obtained from the Carmichel collection.
