U.S. MODEL 1840 NCO SWORD WITH BRASS MOUNTED SCABBARD. Unmarked. 31 1/2 inch straight fullered blade with no makers mark or date visible. Number 11 on guard. Brass simulated cord wrapped grip and double hand guard with D shaped knucklebow. Scabbard has original black painted surface with brass mounting and drag. Fancy belt hook.
Condition: Overall Very Good with nice even patina on all surfaces. No rust or pitting.
