Description:
MX 8 style light game O/U mfg in 1974 with 27 1/2" ejector vent rib barrels (.726 bores). The gun is choked .013(Imp/Cyl) and .043(Full) with original factory marked chokes at I.C. and F, 2 3/4" chambers, light bbls., flat matted vent rib, flat bottom mono bloc, detatchable(drop out) single non-selective trigger with flat springs, type 3 tapered forend with schnabble. Pistol grip stock at 14 1/8" x 1 1/2" x 2 1/4" over checkered butt with very slight cast off. Gun weight 6 lb. 13 1/2 oz., 40% coverage of factory floral engraving, case color hardened frame. The original blue remains at 97%, the original case color at 98%. The original wood finish at 94-95 % with light handling marks, the checkering is 100%. The bores are as new, it is tight as new and mechanically remains a 98-99% gun. It was made in 1974 and imported to the U S by Ithica Gun Company. This is a great pheasant gun!
