FAMARS 12 BORE PAIR of EXCALIBUR BL ROUND ACTION GAME GUNS - 4 each DEMIBLOC BARRELS at 29 1/2" - Each Gun with Extra Barrel - 15 1/4" LOP - 7 Lbs. 13 Oz. - 99% Engraving - Very Nice Wood - 14 Screw Chokes - Overall 96% #FO408 & FO409, Abbiatico & Salvinelli, (Famars) Gardone Val Trompia, Brescia Italy: A Consecutive Numbered Pair of 12 Bore Excalibur BL Round Action Game Guns Finished at the factory on September 22, 2003, Each with an Original Extra Set of Barrels, All 4 barrels are 29 1/2" Solid Rib Demibloc barrels (I believe A&S call them Chopper Lump - They are not Monobloc as nearly all Excalibur are), I think Demibloc barrels are a $10000 Upgrade, #408 - Barrel #1 is fixed chokes at .725 .009 & .023" (Imp.Cyl. & Mod.), Barrel #2 is screw chokes, #409 - Barrel #1 is fixed chokes at .725 .011 & .022" (Imp.Cyl. & Mod.), Barrel #2 is screw chokes, The factory Briley screw chokes for the spare barrels at: .000 -.000 -.004 -.006 -.016 -.016 -.016 -.016 -.027 -.027 -.027 -.027 -.039 & .039", 14 each choke tubes that go Cyl. - Skt. I - Mod. - Imp. Mod. & Full, 2 3/4" chambers, Barrel weights at KG 1,500 to 1510, Detachable Trigger group, Single non-selective trigger, Scalloped action back, Pierced top lever, Game forends, Open pistol grip stock with an engraved steel grip cap, Both at 15 1/4 x 1 1/2 x 2 " over a 3/4" leather pad, Slight cast-off for the right hand, Both guns at 7 lbs. 13 oz., Very nice Turkish Walnut with excellent color and contrast; 99% coverage of very nice floral engraving with a game bird vignette on the action bottom plus coverage on the forend, toplever, top tang, safety and the trigger guard with Gold #1 and #2 accordingly on the barrel breech, Overall condition on both guns relative metal and wood is at 96% from new. For all intents and purposes they are like new with what appears to be 99% mechanical life left in the pair. The entire set is cased in the maker's leather trunk for both guns and 4 barrels; complete with spare springs, strikers and all cleaning accessories.
