NEW PRICE!!!!! THIS IS A PROFUSELY ENGRAVED PARKER BROTHERS GRADE 4 12 GAUGE SINGLE BARREL TRAP GUN. SN 235870. Built in 1931. 30 inch ventilated rib barrel, blue/casehardened finish, custom highly figured walnut stock and beavertail forearm. Features a Hi-Viz orange sight on the original ventilated rib. Barrel choked Inpreoved Modified with a 2 3/4 inch chamber and automatic ejector. The left side of the barrel marked PARKER BROS. MAKERS, MERIDAN, CT. U.S.A. ACME STEEL. The casehardened receiver has floral scroll engraving with a punch- background and a single Mourning Dove in flight on the bottom face. Mounted with a very high quality custom finished checkered beavertail forearm and matching pistol grip stock with a PARKER BROS. hard rubber grip cap. Gold initial shield and a vented Pachmayer red rubber recoil pad. LOP 13 7/8 inches.
Condition: Very good as refurbished and silvered out. The barrel retains 95 percent plus of the new blued finish with some minor scratches scattered overall. The action has aged to a smooth gray patina with some traces of original case colors in the protected areas. The wood is also excellant with light handling marks overall. Mechanically Excellant.
Remarks: This is a gorgeous period gun that is sure to turn the heads on the Trap ot Sporting Clays course. A dove gun par excellance!.SUPER!
