.416 Rigby cal., blue mauser action with no name or serial number visible on top with bolt handle curved for scope, serrated safety on left side action, believe Belgium proof marks on left front action, believe Belgium proof mark on top center bolt, believe Belgium proof mark on bolt handle, blue 25 inch barrel with excellent bore with integral front sling swivel ramp and eye, markings on barrel 416 R B Bundee followed by believe Belgium proof marks, front sight on integral ramp with dove tail adjustable blade no name and hood, rear sight on integral base with dove tail adjustable fold down sight no name with white diamond insert, rear Lyman J55 adjustable receiver sight on right side action, Redfield quick detachable scope bases on front and rear receiver, stainless steel floor plate and trigger guard engraved including front and rear screws with decoration and pawing cape buffalo in grass, serrated blue trigger, blue on barrel about 97-98%, blue on action about 97-98% except slight pitting on nonblue face bolt release, medium color believe walnut monte carlo stock with straight grain on forend and grip and feather grain on butt with beautiful deep finish, diamond hand checkered on forend and grip, light color exotic wood forend with ivory spacer, light color exotic wood grip cap with inset ivory diamond and ivory spacer, brown Pachmayer butt pad with thin white and thick black spacers, rear screw sling swivel eye, no cracks in stock, some scratches in stock, finish on stock about 95-96%, pull 13 1/2 inch, weight 10 pounds, serial number 3691E on bottom receiver not visible, purchased by my father at Weller and Dufty, Birmingham, England in 1970's, stainless steel floor plate and trigger guard may have been added in 1980's by known Safari Club International gunsmith and engraver, magnificent old dangerous game gun, 816/229-6500
