Description:
This Rolling Block Harpoon/Line Throwing Gun is in excellent working condition made by Gastinne-Renette on an 1871 Husqvarna RB action produced under contract with Remington. This model is illustrated in their catalog (repros available from Cornell Publ.). It is 30" overall with a 14" barrel. Wood has nice figure, a solid pad, excellent checkering and remains in very good+ condition. Nickel is at 90+% on the action and is flaking on the barrel to about 70%, the bore is excellent. Overall in very good condition. It is chambered for the 45-60 Win. ALSO, AN EXCELLENT BASIS FOR RE-BARREL TO 45-70, 45-90?????? TRADE CONSIDERED
