150. Alfred B. Hollis Double Barrel Shotgun, 10 gauge, 32" Damascus barrels, very nice shiny bores. Barrel has a London address and " The COLUMBIA" engraved. Miss-spelled? Engraving consists of typical English patterns and includes a dog and three game birds on each sideplate. More birds are present on the underside and on trigger guard. 14.75" pull to the end of the horn butt plate. Overall metal looks good having been re-blued long ago. Interesting wrist repair utilizing a copper sheet and nineteen screws. Lever latch return spring missing. Horned pistol grip cap. Fairly full coverage engraving. Interesting English Double. 10.5 pounds. Antique.
