32” medium-weight, cut-rifled, full octagon, match grade barrel by Wm. S. van Horne with fully-matted top flat using Winchester's original equipment, Freund-style "more light" silver-faced blade front sight and spirit-level tangent rear sight. Highly figured California English walnut stocks with ebony forend tip, wrap-around point pattern checkering with mullered borders, beaded sidepanels, ebony-inlaid S-curve pistol grip, beaded pancake cheekpiece and engraved and checkered steel buttplate. Original antique commercial octagon-top Sharps-Borchardt action with checkered trigger and safety, finely scroll engraved and with rope borderlines and an American Bison in vignette on the right, by William Gamradt. Soule-style vernier tang sight. British-style mahogany case by Ray Sterck with inlaid brass corners, engraved bass escutcheon disk, horn interior lid pulls, accessories by William Crowley including horn handled rosewood cleaning rod with brass jags and nitre-blued oil and grease bottles. Leather trimmed canvas overcase and muslin over-cover. Pull: 15". Weight: 11lbs, 14oz. New condition.
