ZULU RARE BIRD!..UP-DATED INFO 11 23 2012 >.this is a Belgian conversion of the French M1867 rifle done from 1885 onwards. Whilst the Belgians would sell them to anyone the principal market was North America. They were proofed for black powder in Belgium with 300 grains of black powder and 500 grain lead ball. Possibly this one was sold to Canada and was sold later into USA....<12 GAUGE SINGLE SHOT SHOT GUN.34" BARREL,BORE IS PITTED,DARK IN SPOTS.FINISH IS ALMOST NON-EXISTANT. FLOP-OVER TRAP-DOOR TYPE LOADING.GUN FUNCYIONS FINE. MADE 1800'S.ALL SER NUMBERS MATCH. QUITE THE RELIC..MUST BE 21 TO BUY.
