Clarke & Sons 12 Bore Bar Action Sidelock Ejector with a 1969 modern & new set of 27" English barrels that were proved in Birmingham in 1969, They are dovetail lump with rib extension third bite & proved in Birmingham at 3 tons with 2 1/2" and remain as such, They are at .733 .009 & .026", (Imp.Cyl. & Mod.), 2 1/2" chambers, Wall thickness on the right barrel at .038" & .039" on the left, Double triggers, Splinter forend, Pistol grip stock at 15 3/8 x 1 1/2 x 2 5/8" over a checkered butt, Cast-off for the right hand, 6 lbs. 15 oz., 95% coverage of well cut engraving, It is stocked to the fences, It has a solid receiver bottom, The wood remains solid both fore and aft. The barrels inside & out are as new and look like they did when installed in 1969, The wood was refinished with the new barrels and it is at 98%, This piece is ready for the modern life with this new set of barrels. This is a strong value for a Sidelock Ejector game gun.
