This exceptional gun has double triggers and automatic safety. So much has been written about the Frederick Beesley “Shotover” design it would be superfluous for me to try to add anything here. However, I have attached some information written by someone far more capable than I. Also, I would refer anyone interested in this gun to the excellent article by my friend, Morris Hallowell IV, which appears in the Spring, 1994, issue of “The Double Gun Journal”, and features this very gun, among others. At any rate, this magnificent example remains in superb mechanical condition retaining most of the original finish throughout.
