Description:
This is a Winchester Model 1894 Lever Action Rifle in Caliber 25-35WCF. Has a 26" Octagon barrel. Serial number is 116528, indicating that 1898 was the year of manufacture. It was first shipped to the Browning Brothers of Ogden, Utah. You can see part of their legend stamped on the barrel behind the rear sight. The rifle is generally in excellent condition, mechanically. The bore is a little rough, and the bluing was mottled as seen in the pictures. Possibly from being a long time in the corrosive atmosphere of the Salt Lake. It has now been professionally refinished. Sights are a copper beaded front blade, and a Winchester rear. Wood is good for a rifle this old. Must ship to an FFL dealer of your choice. Ships in a hard case inside of a cardboard outer container. Ships three days after funds clear. Pay by cashiers check or USPS Money Order. Buyer is responsible for all shipping and handling charges.
