Description:
Holland & Holland Royal Ejector Hammerless ( engraved on bottom of receiver) in 375 Flanged. Ammo by Kynoch is readily available from Midway. Single trigger with selector. 9lb, 12oz, 26" barrels, 13.625" LOP. Bolted safety, extended top strap, trap door grip cap. Express sights with 100, 200 & 300 yd leafs. Scope bases are of a H&H design. It is an original single trigger gun ( engraved on bottom of receiver) and I believe all measurements are correct on record with H&H factory ledger. Original makers case. H&H scope bases. Replacement cost 195K. Superb balance, excellent engraving. The "Holy Grail" of double rifles. Ser # 19346.
A note on proof marks, etc:
Original proofs - Wheat sheaf on barrel, Whitworth steel barrels, London proofs, made 1887-1904. Rifle was made in 1907 as a .375 2&1/2" cartridge rifle.
Was re-chambered prior to 1994 to .375 Flanged & reproofed.
New proofs: Birmingham proofs, Feb 1994, BNP .375 N/EP, 18 Ton.
