#11767, Scott Criddle / Riflemaker (Idaho Falls, Idaho): A Complete and Total Scott Criddle Custom 300 Winchester Magnum on a FN Mauser Action with a 24" Shilen octagon barrel, Leupold scope bases, Model 70 type 3-position wing safety, Adjustable Timney trigger, Blackburn deep belly magazine, Straddle hinged floorplate with a center bow release, Full custom bolt handle with 4 panel teardrop checkering plus floral engraving, A true Classic stock by Criddle, A superb piece of walnut that borders on being an Exhibition piece with great contrast of black & brown, Ebony forend tip, Very well cut shadowline cheekpiece, A recessed full wrap around fleur-de-lis checkering pattern with extensive carved ribbons, 2 screw tiedown sling eyes both fore & aft, Skeleton steel grip cap, Excellent inletting plus it is nicely glass bedded the entire way including the magazine well, 8 lbs. 4 oz., 13 9/16" LOP over a 1" pad, The original satin blue overall remains at 95%, The original stock finish is at 95%, The checkering remains at 99%, The bore is as new. This gun has detail one looks for in a great American Classic, all 4 screws in the sling eyes lay north & south as do the screws in the skeleton grip cap. I can assure you the checkering is not without detail as is the inletting.
