A sealed box of Kynoch manufactured .318 bore Accelerated Express Rifle cartridges. As can be seen by the yellow label underneath, these cartridge boxes were "relabeled" and subsequently retailed by Westley Richards as a proprietary cartridge for their Express Rifles. It is interesting to wonder whether or how in fact the Westley Richards folks determined that these cartridges were, as they state on the back, " independently tested batch by batch at our own factory range....and ascertained to be of the required standard".  Great Verbiage.
