Description:
This is a Parker Bros. DH grade 12 ga. shotgun made in 1928. It has about 70% case colors and the serial # is 226xxx and all matching. The barrels are at least 95% blue and I believe orginal, 28" uncut, right barrel is .735, choke restriction of .026 and the average wall thickness of .035 and the left barrel is .0732 with a choke restriction of .032 and an average wall thicknes of .032 (mod. and full). and 2 1/2" chambers. The pull is 14 1/8" over a new leather pad, 1 5/8" drop at the comb and 2 3/4" at the heel for normal dimensions. The buttstock is refinished but I don't believe the foreend is and it has some nicks and small dents in it. The buttstock has a silver or white gold oval with 3 initials. The gun is tight and the bores beautiful with one small spot in the upper right bore. Beautiful shotgun and much better condition than the usual. For detailed questions call 914 248 4646.
