Arms Total Custom Barreled Action in 416 Rigby, Stocked by Robert Szweda at RMS Custom in Prescott Valley, Arizona and some metal work by John Bolliger, the founder of Mountain Riflery, Inc. The barreled action is an original Granite Mt. Magnum Double Square Bridge action, 25" barrel with a machined integral 1/4 rib, 1 standing fixed rear sight, Barrel band swivel, Band Ramp front sight with a locking sight hood and spring actuated release, Bolliger custom double lever quick detachable rings machined to fit the double square bases, Steiner 30mm 1.5x5 Hunting Z scope, 3 position wing safety, Custom Bolliger 5-panel bolt knob checkering with a gold inlaid band, Deep magazine box with a straddle hinged floorplate with a center bow release, A pure classic style stock by Szweda at RMS Custom with very nice wood that has very nice color and contrast, Wrap around point pattern checkering, Shadowline cheekpiece, Ebony forend tip, Steel grip cap, Double screw sling stud in the stock at the rear, 13 13/16" LOP over a 7/8" Silvers pad, 11 lbs. 13 oz. with the scope & 10 lbs. 13 oz. without. It has the Granite Mt. name on the action and RMS logo on the barrel. This piece is all original with the blue at 99%, the original wood finish at 99%, the checkering remains at 100% and the bore is new. This piece never went hunting but it has been shot and it is super accurate. This is a first class diesel tough American Classic Sporter by Americans that are not new kids on the block. This piece needs to be hauled off to Africa or Alaska and used for what it was intended to be used for. //////////////////////// Granite Mountain actions are, in my opinion, the best Mauser ever built. They are CNC machined; case hardened and then is lapped, polished and finished by hand. They are the real thing. Robert Szweda is a professional stockmaker and gunsmith; he has been making classic stocks since 1989 as RMS Custom. John Bolliger has made superb American classic rifles since 1986 and operates as Mountain Riflery.
