Description:
Exceptionally  fine to excellent as converted. Natural smooth darkened case hardened lock with untouched  patina on all iron parts. Inside lock absolutely mint with cobalt blue screws and sear. Barrel  browned at time of conversion -- not a recent job (would have been bright when manufactured as original flint). "RR" and "T" inspector's stamp on bbl., lock, and band. "1" and "20"stamp on bbl. and stock. "NWP" in usual places. Note that barrel is not swelled at nipple bolster as is usual with all arsenal conversions. Nipple is a replacement. Wood has a few minor scars and is  excellent with all original finish. There is a black powder class for .54 cal. Astons, Johnsons, and 1836 flintlock conversions.
