This D.A. gun functions well, and locks up tight, and is not a S.A.. the 2" octagonal barrel has a good bore, with some fine pits in patches, but not deep pitting.Top of frame states: MANUFACTURE FRANCAISE D'ARMES & CYCLES DE SAINT-ETIENNE. Chambered for the 8mm Lebel. I don't have any ammo to try in the cylinder, as the .32S&W long fits but is too loose.Has most of the blue but there are areas of fine pits on the barrel muzzle, and high points of the cylinder from laying around in a holster for too long.
