Description:
This very rare UMC-Remington black 2 piece box sports a blue (black powder) top label with marked picture of cartridge, "UMC" in red ball, and "Remington/trade mark " in a white oval. The blue sealing label is missing on one long side, still complete and sealed on three sides. The orange (4-C) guarantee label is very interesting, only one of the seven companies listed produced a gun for this load. The top label is excellent with several small wear marks. The black box is very good, showing some wear on corners and edges. The three remaining sides of sealing label are very good and bottom label is very good with light soiling. A very rare full box, very desirable load, dating from 1916-1920. Approx. $10 shipping lower 48
