176.  Remington Model 14 Pump Action Take Down Rifle.  .30 Remington caliber, orignal 22" barrel, near fine bore, crisp mechanics.  Sights include a Sheard front, replacement buckhorn rear and original Marbles flip-up tang peep.  Barrel retains approximately 70% darkening blue.  70% receiver finish is intact and has turned a dark blue starting to turn plummish blue patina in areas.  Walnut is generally very good plus with a tiny crack in the lower right wrist area.  Correct hard rubber butt plate with one small chip missing from the upper right portion.  Overall a nice looking 14.  Modern,  FFL required.
