REDUCED!!!! Serial # 7XXX, circa, late 1870's. This is a scarce ROUND ACTION, "Simplex" patent No. 1247 of 1875. Described on page 35, "The British Shotgun, Volume Two 1871-1890", by I.M.Crudgington & D. J. Baker. This piece, has the addition of a top rib dolls head extension. This is a lightly embellished, border engraved, best gun with rebounding sidelocks by Stanton, one of the finest lock makers of the era. With 32" damascus barrels retaining 70% pattern, good bores w/ some light roughness, it weighs 9.2 lbs, with LOP 14" to steel BP. The PG nicely figured wood with Anson FE release is in excellent condition. TRADE CONSIDERED OR MAKE OFFER
