#C6616227, Remington Custom Shop Model 700 Grade I Custom Bolt Rifle in 270 Winchester, In 2004 it was completely accurized by Hill Country Rifle in New Braunfels, Texas, It is with a 24" barrel without open sights, Jeweled bolt, Hinged floorplate with a center bow release, Talley 2-piece scope bases, Leupold M8 - 6x42 scope, A nice piece of American Black Walnut, Oil finish, Ebony forend tip, Ebony grip cap, Point pattern checkering, Cheekpiece, Sling eyes on the stock, Single crossbolt, 13 1/2" LOP over a factory 3/4" pad, 8 lbs. 7 oz. with the scope, 98% blue, The stock at 96% with a few handling marks, The checkering at 100%, The bore is excellent. Hill Country Rifle inspected the barrel, chamber, locking lugs, stock, scope and trigger. They then pillar bedded the action, free floated the barrel, recrowned, adjusted the trigger, insure locking lug contact, lap the scope rings and remount the scope. There is a 3 shot 100 yard target at 11/16" with Hornady 150 grain spire point.
