Description:
We are offering an identical matched pair of custom made Arrieta 20ga (2 3/4 inch chambered) shotguns. Consecutively serial numbered and enclosed in a hard leather carrying case which is lockable and has a protective canvas cover.
These excellent condition (98%+) shotguns have a deep luster blue finish on the barrels and trigger bow. The case colored receivers show brilliant coloring. Both shotguns are extensively hand engraved on the case colored receivers, forends' metal and trigger bows.
The 26 inch barrels are marked "Fca. de Escopetas Arrieta - Elgoibar (Espana)". Both sets of barrels are choked modified (left barrel) and improved cylinder (right barrel) and have brass front beads on their solid ribs. The bores are bright and shiny. There are no dings, dents or walnuts.
Mechanically, the guns are equipped with double triggers, selective automatic ejectors and automatic safeties. The locks are H&H hand detachable locks.
The stocks and splinter forends are made from nicely figured, select wood. The forends, straight English grips and the butts are hand checkered.
The Length of Pull for both shotguns is identical: 14 5/8 inches to the front trigger and 13 3/4" to the rear trigger. The Drop at Heel is also identical for both shotguns, that being 1 7/8 inches. The Drop at Comb is once again identical for both shotguns, that being 1 1/4 inches.
