Description:
This is a Winchester model 1886 rifle in caliber 45-90WCF. Serial number 32497 indicates it was manufactured in 1889. It has a 28" octagon barrel, and a single set trigger. Rifle has been professionally restored, and nicely engraved. Has a bear scene on the left side, a buffalo on the right side, and an elk on the bottom as shown in the pictures. Has a crescent buttplate. Standard rear sight with evevating ramp, and standard blade front. Also has a midrange tang rear sight which has windage adjustment by loosening the eye piece and moving it sideways. The bore was a little rough, but now has a $700 hammer forged liner, so is as new. Wood is good with a nice pattern in the buttstock. Gun ships in a hard case inside of a cardboard outer carton. Ships UPS ground. Ships three days after funds clear.
