Stunning and very rare De Leon Sub-Hilted fighter made in 1981,the 8" blade is semi-hollow ground with a mirror-finish made from stainless steel stock . This is De Leon AI model which happen to be his flagship model- A double brass guard and a brass sub are found on this knife while the stunning handle was made from the now discountinued old antique linen yellow Westinghouse micarta which is drilled to accomodate a wrist thong and further secured with stainless steel pins. The brown leather scabbard was made by the late Maurice Johnson ( who made all those sheaths for those Randall's ) and is stamped with the sheath maker's logo on back. Knife is in an absolute immaculate and pristine condition. De Leon knives are rarely seen in the marketplace and this is one of the finest constructed full tang model I've ever seen; one of his best proven design and most desired model by collectors. De Leon no longer makes knives. You will be hard pressed to locate such fine example of an A1 model. Price does include USPS Priority Mail, insured in the Continental United States .
