Master Shiva Ki very first knife made back in 1975 when he entered the cutlery trade which happen to be the very first GATOR HUNTER as well. This knife holds historical significance since it is his first knife. This is a full tang constructed model. The large brass single guard was only used for about three months after that the maker switched to nickel silver guards when making other Gator HUnter but none were ever made like this model. Blade is a hefty 8-5-/8 X 1-3/4 wide.Double clay-tempered blade The knife has the newly designed and introduced AXE-LIKE HANDLE STYLE which has been widely copied since by other makers. Knife comes with the original scabbard and the 1975 original picture taken by Ki himself ( that picture can be seen on Shiva with a Buddah in the background). Shipping is included.
